Tracking all files routed for transcription, editing, or other review. Reporting to the Supervisor on the timeliness and quality of work received from the transcriptionist. Quality control reports as required. Comply with all templates and formats, and use all technology and other business tools as set out in company procedures |

Editing and proofreading of medical reports at the final level. Maintaining a minimum accuracy level of 98.5 percent. To edit and proofreading medical transcription involving reading and listening to the corresponding medical dictation with various dictation styles, accents, and dialects. Recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation; appropriately edit, revise and clarify them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator's style Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands, turnaround time requirements, and commitments. Demonstrate an understanding of policies, procedures, and priorities, seeking clarification as needed. Assists with training of new employees as needed Reviews trends and developments in medicine, English usage, technology, and transcription practices and shares knowledge with colleagues. Contributes to team efforts and shares information with co-workers. Carries out assignments responsibly. |
