CBay Named Tech Company of the Year

Anne Arundel Tech Council
Recognizes Innovation and Leadership in the County

Annapolis, Maryland (December 14, 2005) — CBay Systems, a leading provider of healthcare business process outsourcing (BPO) services, today announced that it has been honored as Tech Company of the Year by the Anne Arundel Tech Council. At an awards ceremony on December 8, 2005, the Anne Arundel Tech Council held the County’s first awards event to recognize leaders within its tech community. Winners were chosen by a 10-member selection committee after a rigorous nomination process.

CBay addresses various issues in the healthcare sector, primarily focusing on process improvement and revenue cycle management. By leveraging Internet technologies, the company’s HIPAA-compliant solutions provide integrated dictation capture, transcription and web-based document management to hospitals, clinics and physician groups.
