CBay Systems hosts its IT systems
in datacenters that guarantee maximum uptime and reliability for its
customers. The systems are monitored 24/7 from CBay's dedicated Network
Operation Center. In addition to this, the CBay IT solution itself is
designed to provide maximum redundancy as well as scalability. CBay
uses multiple global telecom providers each providing 99.9% uptime while
still maintaining redundancy across telecom providers. CBay's Disaster
Recovery Plan provides effective business continuity coverage for providing
service to its customers in the event of a disaster.
Connectivity:

Telecom Connectivity for Voice:

Telecom Connectivity for Data:
CBay connects to their clients' network through secured "VPN tunnels" across the Internet, to both receive and send data. This is an encrypted channel from the point of originating till it reaches the access point, and vice versa. Local internet access is also through diverse providers and paths, and is balanced across. All CBay sites i.e. US and India are interconnected using VPN tunnels.
Business Continuity Planning:
In addition to the diversity and redundancy built in for the WAN, a combination of methods are used to ensure extremely high uptime and availability of all computing systems, including RAID, equipment duplication, onsite parts sparing & support personnel, and secondary maintenance procedures. A mix of DDS-3 DAT tapes and CD backups are used daily on rotation basis.
